Unigma Offers IT Departments & Service Providers First Capability to Compare and Select Public Clouds

Framingham, MA – Unigma, a unified cloud management platform, announced today the Beta release of its Cloud Comparison Calculator. Unigma, which launched in January 2016, is targeted to support IT departments and IT service providers who are using the largest three public clouds currently available – AWS, Azure or Google IaaS – otherwise known as the “Big 3”. Its Unified Cloud Management platform provides a single pane of glass performance, automation cost and security management for the “Big 3” clouds.

Tool Empowers Evaluation of Cloud Choices Prior to Enrolling

With the accelerated growth of the public cloud services market to reach $204 billion this year, many companies’ internal IT departments, as well as IT service providers on which enterprises rely, are turning their attention to evaluating which of the largest three cloud providers will work the best for their needs. To further help solve the challenges such companies face, Unigma will make available a Beta release version of its’ Cloud Comparison Calculator, a complimentary tool that compares costs between the “Big 3” cloud providers.

“Previously, IT service providers and IT departments did not have a solution that would help them easily compare costs amongst AWS, Azure or Google to assist in figuring out which cloud is most cost effective, before making the move. The tool will assist in comparing costs for virtual machines, storage and databases as a start,” shared Unigma’s founder Kirill Bensonoff.

Latest solution upgrades offer ability to monitor load balancers

Additionally, in July the company also announced that the new release of its service will offer the ability to monitor, manage and alert on load balancers.

This integral part of any application stack that allows traffic coming from the web to be spread amongst more than one host, can now be monitored by Unigma. This will allow MSPs and IT organizations to effectively monitor the full application stack – from load balancers down to database.

Unigma positioned to serve the scaling needs of the cloud

“Unigma takes the idea of multi-cloud management in the right direction, and solves concrete problems IT experiences today – namely, managing performance and cost, and automating multiple public clouds,” said Earl Follis, senior analyst, SSG-NOW.

“Cloud computing has grown exponentially, and this growth will continue. The ‘Big 3’ public clouds grew by an average over 90%. More companies are using cloud services right now than ever before. Interestingly, IaaS and SaaS are leading the adoption of cloud, and it’s Unigma’s mission to enable IT organizations to simplify, automate and secure the cloud,” said Bensonoff.

The calculator is complimentary and currently available at https://calculator.unigma.com. Users can also try Unigma on a risk-free trial basis.
