What we like: Arvixe makes it simple to place your order as soon as you decide on what you need from them. Your first option is simply to submit a ticket. The company processes them 24/7 and will immediately send you a confirmation of your order. Any questions you have are also generally answered within a business day. Although delays are unlikely, they allow you to check in on your active tickets too in case you’re wondering what their statuses are.

You can also email the company your order and they’ll process the sale that way. The email for their sales team is sales@arvixe.com. As with their tickets, these emails are processed around the clock and you’ll receive a confirmation as soon as yours has been addressed.

Their website also features a live chat feature. You can contact them for just about any question, but they also take orders through this portal too. Obviously, as it’s a live chat session, the representative will confirm when your order is being processed and you’ll receive a confirmation email later when the sale is final.

What we like: One visit to the Arvixe website makes it clear that the hosting provider puts an emphasis on customer support. They prominently feature the link for their support center at the top of their homepage.

Amongst other things, the support page features a customer survey; they publish one every month. However, it also has the categories for their knowledgebase running down the side of it too. Popular topics include:

• DotNetPanel/Helm/Windows
• MSSQL
• ASP
• Third Party Applications

In all there are 18 categories which account for over 230 different posts. So if you have a question, you may be able to troubleshoot it through their knowledgebase. Of course, this is also a great section to simply get a free education about all things hosting and web development. You stand a very good chance of avoiding a lot of problems down the line by proactively learning about them.

You also have the same lines of communication available to you for support needs as you do for sales. This also means they’re all open to you 24/7 too.

Arvixe also has a forum where customers and representatives from the company can talk shop. This, like the knowledgebase, makes for a helpful resource for those with unique problems or who just want to learn more about what goes into running their website.

What we like: For the most part, Arvixe organizes its many services by the customers who need them. Their five main categories are:

This certainly makes shopping a lot easier for customers who may be new to the process. Under each category are a number of different options for each type of customer. The company displays all these options one after the next in order to make comparison shopping easier. Some of their most popular options go for just dollars a month and they also offer regular sales like a free domain for life with the purchase of hosting.
What needs improvement: Nothing at the moment.
Usability Review Grade: A
What we like: It’s easy to give Arvixe a positive review where their usability is concerned. For one thing, to revisit the above category, they’re one of the few companies to organize their services by the type of customer you are. Obviously, there is some overlap, but those services are located under both categories, so it’s not an issue.

The company is also unique in that it maintains a regular blog. Aside from the aforementioned customer surveys it publishes every month, they also post about industry news and helpful pieces of advice. This makes using their products easier, but it’s also helpful in just better understanding what goes into running a website.

Obviously, all their support options help their usability score too. Arvixe makes it easy to educate yourself along the way, but if you have a question, you’ll always have a resource for free information. It doesn’t matter if it’s 2am on Christmas, someone will respond too.

The company’s reputation largely speaks volumes. Although they’re definitely not one of the oldest hosting providers out there, they have a collection of awards that would suggest otherwise.
