Regensburg – Automation, data security and new domain extensions – the Internet industry will meet at WorldHostingDays (WHD.global) in Rust from March 15 to discuss the latest developments in the hosting and cloud business.

More than 6,300 Internet experts from around the globe are expected to attend the industry event in Europa Park. InterNetX is a Diamond Partner for this year’s event – presenting not only new products, but also the domain.AUCTION where 34 premium domains will be auctioned off. On the evening before the trade show, high-quality domains will be auctioned off in 34 lots, among them premium names such as hosting.club, lowcost.cloud, v.hosting, backup.global or website.host. The topic “domains” will be at the center of the panel discussion on the first exhibition day. Together with other experts, Marco Hoffmann, Head of Domain Services and Product Management at InterNetX, will assess the status of the new domain extensions one year after their launch. Marco Hoffmann draws a positive conclusion: “Many positive examples such as .CLOUD, .ONLNE or .CLUB demonstrated that the new domain extensions were able to establish themselves in a short time – not only with their convincing registration numbers, but also due to their active usage for relevant content by the community.” The discussion will start at 2.15 pm (CET) on March 15 in Cinema 4D.

As the second InterNetX speaker, Marco Revesz, Team Leader Server Sales & Automation at InterNetX, will talk about trends in the cloud industry in his keynote “Auto.Motion: The winning strategy of a 24/7 hosting race”. He draws parallels to racing and explains how the business is moving to fully-automated processes – and why providers are in danger of falling behind without automation. The keynote will begin at 4:20 pm on March 16 in main.FORUM.

Just in time for WHD.global InterNetX will also present its new mobile server administration. The InterNetX Server Administration Center (ISAC), is now available for Android and iOS devices as well. A new white-label customer app is also available for download on iOS devices.
