Datalink Achieves Advanced Data Center Architecture Specialization from Cisco
Hosting Reviews – CHANHASSEN, Minn. – Datalink (Nasdaq: DTLK), a leading provider of data center infrastructure and services, announced today that it has achieved the Advanced Data Center Architecture (DCA) Specialization from Cisco. This new specialization recognizes Datalink as having fulfilled the training requirements and program prerequisites to sell, deliver and support comprehensive Cisco® data center architectures in the U.S.
The specialization provides role-based training in three essential areas: Unified Fabric for optimizing data and storage needs; Unified Computing for streamlining data center resources and uniting network, computational, storage and virtualization platforms; and Unified Network Services for advancing the way application delivery and security services are provided in the data center network or computing environment.

“Achievement of the Cisco Advanced Data Center Architecture (DCA) Specialization is a testament to Datalink’s overall data center architecture design and deployment expertise. Being an early adopter of the solution architecture programs offered by our strategic partners, supplemented by Datalink-led training, enables our teams to effectively design and deploy leading-edge data center solutions. This most recent specialization—in addition to Cisco advanced specializations in Unified Communications, Routing and Switching, Security, Wireless LAN, Data Center Storage Networking, and Data Center Network Infrastructure—demonstrates Datalink’s ongoing commitment to Cisco as a strategic partner and our continued dedication to our overall data center engineering excellence,” commented Datalink President and CEO Paul Lidsky.
“As a Cisco Advanced Data Center Architecture Specialized Partner, Datalink has made a significant investment in the training required to help customers accelerate their business growth, reduce the total cost of ownership, and extend the life of their current infrastructures by making their data centers more efficient, agile and resilient,” said Ralph Nimergood, vice president of data center architecture for the worldwide partner department at Cisco.
The Cisco Resale Channel Program provides partners with the training required to build sales, design and technical talent and then validates their skills through a third-party audit.
