Carrollton, GA – Fogo Data Centers is pleased to announce that William G. (“Bill”) Esslinger, Jr. has joined its executive team as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors. Richard M. Haney, Jr., co-Founder of the company, remains actively involved in management as President and Chairman of the Board of Directors. “The cloud services market continues to experience exponential growth, which has led to the rapid expansion of our company and our customer base,” said Haney. “With this continued growth, we felt the pressing need to expand our leadership talent as well. Bill’s experience in guiding technology companies through growth stage acceleration will be an invaluable asset as we strive to keep pace with the marketplace demands for data center-based cloud services.”

Mr. Esslinger is founder and principal of Esslinger Tech Law, a consulting firm specializing in start-up and growth phase technology companies. Prior to founding Esslinger Tech Law, he served as Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary of Greenway Medical Technologies, Inc. for 14 years. Mr. Esslinger led the legal team and advised the company’s board of directors and management through six rounds of private financing and an initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange, raising in excess of $150 million in the aggregate, as well as the successful $644 million acquisition by Vista Equity Partners in November 2013, which resulted in Greenway becoming a privately held company. In addition, Esslinger served as co-founder and initial President and CEO of GreenCourt Legal Technologies, securing for the Company a contract to develop an electronic filing system for the Superior court system of the State of Georgia.

Along with Mr. Esslinger, Deborah Ingle Esslinger, President of Esslinger Tech Law, has also joined the Board of Directors for Fogo Data Centers. Mrs. Esslinger’s expertise in software development and product management includes a wide variety of technology platforms and application domains, including a combined 15 years of experience at Georgia Tech Research Institute, where she designed, developed, and tested software systems in electronic defense and modeling and simulation domains, and Greenway Medical Technologies, Inc., where she developed the initial version of Greenway’s electronic medical record, led the PrimeSuite product management department, and founded other product lines during her tenure, including mobile and research products. She brings a new perspective to the Board that will enhance the company’s evaluation of growth opportunities as well as its leadership development initiative.

Edith F. Haney, co-Founder of the company, continues to serve on the Board of Directors and as Executive Vice President, General Counsel & Secretary for the Company.
