GreenQloud Announces Executive Changes, New Hires
Reykjavik, Iceland; Seattle, WA – GreenQloud, developer of the IT infrastructure management software QStack™ announced today changes in its executive lineup, and the bolstering of its core team.
Chief Marketing Officer Paula Gould left the company, and Chief Commercial Officer Gisli Kr. assumed the joint responsibilities of leading sales and marketing. Iris Sigtryggsdottir, formerly Marketing Manager has been appointed to serve as Vice President of Marketing. The North American office welcomed Bruce Olson, former OEM MNA Director at Microsoft, as VP of Sales, Americas.
Ægir Ármannsson joined as Senior Account Manager. Ægir started in the IT business in the 1970’s and after 11 years working for Taeknival, he joined the company now known as Advania to manage the enterprise department. After seven years, he joined forces with his former CEO to build the Thor Data Center, before eventually moving to Mason IT to manage the Iceland division. In his new role at GreenQloud, Ægir is responsible for managing existing customer relationships and generating new customer leads.
Janine Seifert worked for Siemens, Deloitte and Deutsche Bank in Germany, and joined GreenQloud as Quality Assurance Specialist to examine current quality control processes, and streamline these by establishing the frequency and types of tests to be performed and determining quality standards.
The company also announced its latest wave of expansion to its development and operations teams.
Ævar Guðmundsson, Rúnar Berg, and Högni Ingimarsson joining the development team, responsible for shaping and supporting QStack™. Klemenz Freyr Friðriksson and Nils Carlson joined as Operations Engineers, responsible for supporting and deploying QStack™ for GreenQloud’s globally based customers.
