LeaseWeb’s New Partner Program Offers Greater Incentives and Benefits
WASHINGTON, D.C. – LeaseWeb, one of the world’s largest hosting brands, has created a new-look channel partner program to offer Authorized Reseller Partners a more competitive, market-oriented and comprehensive package of products, services and support. The new program replaces LeaseWeb’s previous four-level reseller partner offering with a simplified six-tier system that promises greater potential benefits for participants.
“We’ve taken a good look at the market and consulted existing reseller partners. As a result, we came up with something that’s fresh and really addresses what partners and resellers are asking for,” said Freek Hemminga, Global Channels & Marketing Manager at LeaseWeb. “The new Reseller Partner Program now covers our entire line of products and services, including cloud and CDN services that weren’t previously included. The program is now also much more competitive in terms of monetary benefits, while providing a wider range of support and marketing services to both new and existing LeaseWeb resellers.”
Following an extensive review of current market offerings, LeaseWeb found there is no clear market standard for how discounts are calculated for reseller partners. It also identified several needs going unmet for many resellers, including support for lead and opportunity development, enablement training, partner portal resources and marketing support.
“To help our partners better compete and increase profitability in today’s challenging market, LeaseWeb has revised this partner program to offer a wider range of discounts and benefits to resellers,” Hemminga said. “These benefits include everything from onboarding training, a partner locator service and help with business development planning up to better promotions, seeding options and much more to enable our partners to grow and succeed.”
The new program is designed to encourage even further growth in LeaseWeb’s base of reseller partners, which has been expanding by 60 percent year-over-year.
LeaseWeb will maintain the original discount levels for current Authorized Reseller Partners for the remainder of the year. After that period, it will work with those partners to transition them to the new, six-tiered system.
In addition to the new partner model, LeaseWeb is also enabling resellers to add their regular discounts on top of any online promotional offers. Effective immediately, this applies to any new orders by partners. By doing this, LeaseWeb aims to prevent any potential channel conflicts regarding pricing and promotions.
“We will also assign a partner manager to each existing Authorized Reseller Partner to help them change over to the new model as smoothly and seamlessly as possible,” Hemminga said. “We believe our new program offers partners even more incentives than before to grow their businesses.”
LeaseWeb’s new Reseller Partner Program goes into effect globally starting today.
The new program, together with the Referral Partner Program and Specialized Partner Program, is part of the LeaseWeb Partner Network (LPN), a comprehensive framework supporting LeaseWeb’s partner ecosystem.
