AUSTIN, TX – OnRamp, a leading high security and hybrid hosting provider with data center facilities in Texas and North Carolina, is pleased to announce that Matt Hammons will join the leadership team as Vice President of Operations. In this role, Hammons will oversee infrastructure and data center operations, service delivery, customer satisfaction, and business operations as OnRamp continues to expand its secure private clouds, colocation and cloud delivered services.

Hammons joins OnRamp from Rackspace where he was Director of Engineering for a leading Platform as a Service product. During his 6 year tenure at Rackspace, Hammons led the build and opening of the company’s Sydney, Australia Data Center as well as the migration of over 1000 customers from the closing Herndon, Virginia Data Center.

Prior to Rackspace, Hammons was Technology Infrastructure Manager at Accenture’s Texas Medicaid and Healthcare Partnership. In this role he was responsible for operations and implementation of healthcare focused infrastructure, delivering solutions for the State of Texas.
