Peak 10 Gains Momentum in Raleigh with Data Center Construction and New Local Leader
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – National IT infrastructure and cloud solutions provider Peak 10, Inc. has appointed Robby Gauci as vice president and general manager of its Raleigh, N.C. operations. He will be responsible for managing the overall operations of Raleigh data center facilities including engineering, sales, business development and customer service. Peak 10 currently operates two data centers in the Raleigh market and is building a third facility in Morrisville, N.C.
Gauci brings more than a decade of business development and telecommunications experience to Peak 10. He previously served as general manager for Level 3 Communications where he focused on driving revenue for the company. He attended Southern Louisiana University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in administration and management.
“It’s an exciting time to be joining Peak 10 and its team in Raleigh,” said Gauci. “The data center that is under construction in Raleigh is nothing short of impressive. The investment Peak 10 is making in this market underscores the deep commitment it has to customers in the Raleigh market. We look forward to serving even more North Carolina businesses by supporting and safeguarding their mission-critical business operations, data and applications with this new data center space.”
In May of this year, Peak 10 announced the construction of the new facility, which will include office space and a state-of-the-art Technical Assistance Center (TAC) in addition to secure data center space. The expansion brings Peak 10’s total Raleigh footprint to more than 100,000 square feet.
The installation of all electrical systems, an 8.5 MW generator and the chilled water system at the facility site have been completed and are undergoing testing. Additionally, the new office space and customer area are near completion. Peak 10 will continue with the final stages of construction during the remainder of the year as it prepares to occupy the space with new and existing customers in the Raleigh market.
