The upgrade will take two forms.  First, disk space on all hosting packages will be increased by 20 percent.  Second, as a result of the Company’s decision to reduce the number of customers allocated to each virtualized server, most VPS customers will enjoy greatly increased access to RAM, CPU and other performance-impacting resources.  On average, these resources will increase by 33 percent, resulting in a measurably faster end-user experience.

ServInt today also introduced a new service package, Essential+ VPS, that offers 33 percent more RAM than its entry-level Essential VPS counterpart, in addition to greater access to CPU and other performance resources – for only $10 more per month.

“The goal of our new Essential+ VPS is to take the incredible value of our entry-level Essential VPS and augment the specs for our customers who are looking for a little more power, but are not quite ready to make the leap into our Signature VPS or Ultimate VPS packages,” said ServInt Chief Operating Officer Christian Dawson.

ServInt Chief Technology Officer Matthew Loschert said, “With the expansion into our new Northern Virginia data center complete, we’ve been able to add a vast quantity of new hardware to our platform.  We have used this opportunity to dramatically enhance the specifications of all our VPS packages, at no additional cost to our customers.”
