Reston, Va. – Christian Dawson has been promoted to president of ServInt, a global leader in the web hosting and cloud industries. Dawson is a 16-year veteran of ServInt who most recently served as ServInt’s chief operating officer since 2009. He joined the organization in 1998 and serves on its board of directors.

“Christian has done a fantastic job in his role as COO. In addition to his leadership roles at ServInt, he is the co-founder and chairman of the Internet Infrastructure Coalition (i2Coalition), the Internet infrastructure industry’s premiere trade association. In that role, he helps to direct efforts that protect Internet freedom and ensure that the Internet and the industry that builds it continue to survive and thrive.
